These are just a few of the web sites that Professional System Solutions has found helpful in terms of security and virus related issues with Computer and Network Systems. Professional System Solutions has found that running all of these scanners combined and in Safe Mode can eliminate about 95% of computer problems related to viruses or spyware:

Free Online Security / Virus Scan (Symantec) - This site is extremely helpful in finding infestations on your computer when you can't update/install an antivirus scanner on your system. This will not remove the virus or security threat for you, but will at least notify you of the offending file/executable so that you can remove the infection manually.
Housecall by Trend Micro - Another excellent source for a free online scan. Trend Micro's Housecall will also remove infected files if you choose the option to "Clean" your PC. Trend Micro is also the source of the CWShredder program that is very good for removing the "Cool Web Search" browser hijack. You can also download CWShredder [here] from our downloads section.
AdAware SE - One of the best freeware programs able to remove copious amounts of spyware from an infected computer. Lavasoft's AdAware SE is completely free and updatable to acquire the latest in spyware definitions. This program is best run in SAFE mode for almost certain removal of infestations. (NOTE: It's better to manually delete temp files and Internet Cache from all User accounts on the computer to save time on the scans.)
Spybot Search & Destroy - Another great freeware tool out there for removing spyware. Also free and updatable to remove the latest spyware "bots".
